Most of the forms of dances are derived from the most popular Hindu Mythology: the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Crafts from Indonesia are in two forms; medium and art. The artistic nature of the people is clearly exhibited on wood, canvas, metals, stone and clay. Batik waxing and dyeing have originated from Java hundreds of years ago and the designs and patterns have been modified along the years to suit the changing generation. Indonesia is famous for its handicrafts; woodcarvings on furniture and ornaments are dominant here.
The religion in Indonesia is a majority of Islamic followers, and the country has the largest population of Islam followers. They follow the principle of believing in one supreme god. The other religions that are found in Indonesia are Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity.
