However, the official language of Kuwait is referred to as Khaliji. This same language is known by other names in different Middle Eastern countries.
The other language that is mostly spoken by Kuwaitis is English. It is mandatory for the schools and colleges to teach English as their second language. English is used especially for business communication. Besides Gulf Arabic and English, many residents of Kuwait also speak Farsi, which is the official language of the country Iran. Urdu, which is the official language of Pakistan, and Hindi, which is the official language of India, are also spoken by large segments of the expatriate population living in Kuwait.
Therefore, people visiting Kuwait from other parts of the world will not have a problem communicating as English is extensively used in the country.
