As you move towards Dubai where the sand is that much more obvious, the parasitic plants are found in abundance and you can spot varieties of these plants as you go along the highway.
However, like other places in the world, the plants of UAE are close to extinction because of the environmental factors and the associated damage that we have done to the ecosystems. The Arcadia plant is another feature of the Desert topography and hence can be found in the UAE.
The UAE has a rich history of plant life as anyone who has lived there long would tell you. The other variety of plant life include the Arta and as we have mentioned this is close to extinction because of the fact that the pollination cycle for this species has been destroyed due to the changes in the weather patterns.
