Texas has been the home of several famous personalities. Situated in south-central U.S., Texas is the largest US state in area and the second largest in population. It is best known worldwide for its rich culture and heritage, scenic landscape, dude-ranches, and cowboys.

Actor Matthew McConaughey, wrestler Steve Austin, and heavyweight boxer George Foreman were born in the Texan cities of Uvalde, Austin, and Marshall respectively. Michael Dell, CEO and founder, Dell Computers, belong to Houston, while the 7-time winner of Tour-de-France, Lance Armstrong, is a native of Plano.
