It is a port city where temperatures range from 75 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The main attraction is the city is the 2.5 mile walkway along the Guayas River. The third largest city of Ecuador is Cuenca. This city has a spring-like climate right through the year because of its location. The city has a quaint charm to it because of its colonial past. It is considered to be the most cultured city in the country, and has contributed quite a bit to the literature and arts of Ecuador. The city is a major hub for crafts like weaving, ceramics, jewelry, and leather goods. This is the city where the famous Panama hat actually originated.
