The third largest city of Ecuador is Cuenca. This city has a spring-like climate right through the year because of its location. The city has a quaint charm to it because of its colonial past. It is considered to be the most cultured city in the country, and has contributed quite a bit to the literature and arts of Ecuador. The city is a major hub for crafts like weaving, ceramics, jewelry, and leather goods. This is the city where the famous Panama hat actually originated.
